Opium Power is developing, funding and operating large scale battery storage projects connected directly to the UK’s power distribution network.
Adding to the UK battery infrastructure, Opium Power has 90 Megawatts now energised and operational. These batteries bring valuable flexibility to the grid, enabling it to harness increasing volumes of renewable generation, as well as supporting an energy system that is clean, affordable and secure.
